Isaac Moffett
A Lifelong Idahoan Committed to Upholding Conservative Values and Empowering Working Families
Isaac Moffett’s family moved to Idaho in 1981, drawn by the Gem State’s ethos of rugged independence and opportunity. Raised in Idaho City, he embraced hard work via traplines, small-scale mining, and cutting and splitting 75 cords of firewood, instilling self-reliance, fiscal prudence, and conservative principles central to Idaho’s working-class ethos.
Following his father’s untimely death, the family relocated to Boise, where Isaac graduated from Capital High School. He enlisted in the Idaho Army National Guard as an M1A1 Tank Crewman, though a shoulder injury shifted his path. In his twenties, he supported his family through rigorous roles as a Gospel Hump Wilderness trail guide, construction worker, Micron PC call center employee, and real estate agent—mirroring the resilience of Idaho’s blue-collar workers.
